I have an application that generates iCalendar files which are sent to Lotus Notes. When the e-mail arrives the mail client recognizes the ical file attachment and when the user does a view or open is presented with a list of calender entries to import.
This is fine with two exceptions:
1. When the user selects import it creates a new memo in the users inbox which must again be opened and accepted. This second acceptance is redundant and not necessary. Why is it there?
2. All the calendar entries are prefixed with the word Broadcast: followed by the information from the Summary: statement of the icalendar entry. Why the Broadcast: and how can it be eliminated?
